Situated just a few miles from the beaches at Newport Sands, Pwllgwaelod and Cwm yr Eglwys this delightful cottage in the Gwaun Valley makes a perfect base from which to explore Pembrokeshire. The three bedroomed property has recently been built to the highest specification with traditional craftsmanship. The Gwaun Valley is a very beautiful and offers delightful walks as do the Preseli Hills and Coastal Path, which are both close by. Within walking distance is a traditional Welsh front room pub affectionately known as Bessie's that serves ale from the jug. Entrance in to the large open plan sitting/dining room and kitchen, which has a wooden floor and is furnished in a contemporary style. The kitchen area has a Rayburn cooker (2004), ceramic hob and a dishwasher. The untility room has a combination microwave oven, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. The dining room has a large family dining table and chairs. The sitting room has a wood-burning stove and is furnished with comfortable seating, colour tv,dvd,cd/hifi and occasional furniture. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Bedroom 1 is on the ground floor and has a bath, wash hand basin and wc. Upstairs there are two bedrooms. Bedroom 2 has twin beds and a pull out single bed,bedroom furniture and valley views. Bedroom 3 has twin beds and a pull out single bed, bedroom furniture and valley views. The upstairs shower-room has a shower cubicle, wc and wash hand basin. A standard cot high chair and stair gate are available. Up to 2 well behaved dogs are welcome, sorry no cats. Non smokers are preferred. There is full oil central heating throughout the property. Electricity, oil and wood for the wood-burner are included in the rental. There is parking to the side of the cottage for one car and a further space opposite. The garden and patio area has garden furniture.
